Give me your JUNK!

Ok, so last night I made my BIG announcement....you can read that HERE.  

So, I will be doing some MAJOR fundraising efforts over the next few months...sorry for that ;)  

BUT, I know it can be hard to give money and so often there are SO many people asking for different things that it can actually be quite frustrating.

SO, I am going to try to think of some alternative methods of fundraising.  I've got a few ideas in the works BUT the first one starts NOW...are you ready?

Give me your JUNK.

Let me explain.  

The First Fundraiser is one I am really excited about!  I have been selling my kids clothes and old toys for years through the JBF sales.  The next sale is February 21st out of Firestone and I am asking for donations of your kids old clothes, toys they don't play with after Christmas, baby items, shoes, sippies, potty seats...anything goes!  

For right now, I am asking specifically for kids donations, but in March I will hit you up for good ol' fashion JUNK...I will be hosting a BIG garage sale and selling ANYTHING to want to rid from your house ;)  

With all of these donations I will do the leg work...no, I won't come clean your closets BUT I will wash and tag all of the clothes and will even pick up!

It's a win/win!  Get rid of that stuff and don't have to mess with how to get rid of it AND the money goes to an absolutely wonderful thing...a trip that will make an impact on far more than just me!

** I can start taking donations ASAP so I can get them all tagged and prepped before the sale**  DEADLINE for me to get the stuff is Valentines Day!  

So, if you can spare a few minutes between now and then, clean out a few closets, the shed, boxes of "old"...and let me know ;)

Thank you all SO much for the kind words and support!  I would lie if I didn't say I am REALLY nervous about this adventure, but I do feel I can bring a glimmer of light to lots of amazing kids and when I think of them..I want to go NOW!
