As he grew, so did we. He was our "Marley". He was there while we were dating, got married, our first house, first kids; he was a part of it all. We have been together for 13 years and for only 8 months, he wasn't part of US.
Before we got married, he lived with Brian...he was his up-late-video-game buddy, I remember going to Brian's apartment before Graduation and having breakfast with him at my feet, he was our "only child" for a while in our first apartment, when we moved into our house, he was the one who was MOST excited for our backyard, he was my snuggle buddy in bed until this past year, and to this day, he could still snore louder than Brian.
He was always so gentle, so loving, so sweet...you rub behind his ears and he was your forever friend. My mother-in-law taught him to shake, he always knew how to bay.

For the first few years, he got a steak for his b-day, I loved the way he would get up next to me on the couch and lean into me. He was funny and independent; he fit in to our family perfectly.
He loved snow as much and Brian and I do...even up to this past month, whenever we woke up to snow he would want to go outside as soon as possible and he would lick the snow forever!
This past year, we knew the time was coming..making the decision of when proved to be harder than I thought it would be. A few days ago he stopped eating, he's had a few accidents and just seems done. I am glad he made it through Christmas, 13 years exactly.
So, today we let him go.
Cooper, you will FOREVER be in our hearts! We love you, buddy and we miss you SO very much!
I hope that where you are, there are endless walks, treats and comfy spots for you to lay.
Thank you for helping us start our family.

I'm so happy to have been a small part of Cooper's life. He was such a special part of your family and I loved him dearly, as did Grandpa Chip. We will miss him a lot. Our love to you all.
