Settled.

Its been a whirl wind 48 days since moving day.  First, let me preface this by saying 1.  for a Realtor, I handle moving VERY poorly.  2.  Moving SUCKS and 3.  my color coded system only worked up until I got movers who, well....weren't very "into" it.

So, needless to say the move didn't go quite as flawless as I had hoped.  To be expected, right?

We moved.  Boxes everywhere!  EVERYwhere.  We had 7 days to get the house in shape for our family to visit so it was crunch time.  My body felt it, my bones, my brain.  It was as crazy as it seems.  We probably could have left a few things for later but I am also very sure I am probably OCD and so later wasn't an option.

A few people have asked for pictures of the house so, for those who want to see...here ya go!

Formal living room

My favorite room in the house...the family room.  I love the open windows, vaulted fireplace and the greenery of the yard behind you.

Formal Dining - still need a bench and a few misc. chairs to finish the table BUT Painted Piano did an amazing job with this oak starter!

My office!  Still a work in progress - I have a few projects once the kids are in school in this room having to do with photos and the bookshelf BUT, I love having my own space and hubby loves the fact that my laptop isn't forever on the end table anymore!

Pipers room

See her strawberry she painted at her 2 year bday party and her BACKPACK for SCHOOL!  Wow.

Blakes room - as clean as it is gonna get with my little hoarder of all things small.

Of course we still have a playroom.  Of course it is still a mess.  ;)

Kids bath

Master Bedroom

Master bath.  Kids still love my tub more but at least I don't HAVE to move the toys to take a shower ;)

My own scrap area - YOU GUYS.  Words can NOT express my excitement!  Although I have yet to make it down there yet - but soon.  Very, very soon!

The rest of the basement

Basement guest bedroom and bath

And, finally - our yard.  I absolutely LOVE this yard.  Jill has an amazing green thumb which I am hoping I can maintain because the flowers, shrubs and plants are amazing!  Something is always in bloom!  I can't wait to see what is next to come up!

And, our patio.  Many dinners and many more to come!

So, that is our home.  We are loving it and it fits our family SO well!

There's no place like HOME.
