My precious Piper...is learning now!  I forgot how much I absolutely love this stage!  When babies can sit up and play in one spot with toys and be so fascinated with anything you give them it is amazing to watch and oh so fun!  Piper has learned several new things recently and it is so fun to watch her "get it".  

First came waving.  My baby can wave!  It took her a few days to master it but if you watched her you could see she was trying to figure it out but couldn't get that pesty left hand to hold still, so instead for a few weeks it looks like she was a baby bird trying to use her wings and fly!  But, now with days of practice, she got it!  She waves when you say "Hi" with her right hand and smiles the biggest smile you have ever seen!

Next, on the move!  No, not crawling yet although I fear it really wont be long until my sweet precious is on the move and the world of baby gates are back in our lives..but for now, she loves to sit and flip herself onto her belly.  It is sad but it took me a few times to really see what she was doing.  She just flips her right leg behind her, bends all the way over and bam - out pops the other leg and its tummy time!  She didn't like it at first and wasnt quite sure how she got there but now, she actually likes it and realizes that this is how she can reach the toys that have scooted away.

And, she has learned how to undo her diaper!  Not while she is dressed (thank the lord) but, while she is on her changing table, new diaper on ready for pants and RRRIIIIIIIIPPPPPPPPP...open!  I actually have to try to get her pants on before she does it sometimes when she is determined.

All of these things melt my heart!  It is so fun to see her expressions and her curiosity!  I can not wait to see whats around the next bend with ms. piper!
