Blake's first school program!

This was a day I had been looking forward to once I found out I was pregnant to be honest!  There is something about watching your kid perform that lets you see a different side of him.  I was totally the mom with the camera AND the video camera and despite my every attempt, I cried when I first saw him walk up onto the stage.  My big boy.

See that polite looking, adorable, blonde haired boy right in the middle of the front row with his hands folded - YUP, he's mine!  I know, I am SO lucky!

They were ready to start signing the first song and I was prepared for Blake to pretty much stand there, look around at his friends signing loudly...boy was I shocked when this happened

He was SO great!  He was one of the loudest kids, he knew the words and he ate up all of the attention! My heart was so full and I WAS in awe of my son, what he knew and how he handled himself!

A few times during the performance, he stopped and looked at us and then we got this:

It was the best gift!  He was so proud of himself and happy to see Mommy, Daddy, Grandma Connie, Great Grandma Helen and Great Grandad Dee!

We watched as his class sang about 6 songs and then we were ready for the finale...the Reindeer Pokey!  Now, if you know Blake at all, you know he is always very expressive...however, this shot still blows my mind and is out of the world hysterical and cuter than cute!

I can NOT wait for next years Christmas Program!  Merry Christmas!
