Pig Tails and Baby Dolls, Piper

As of late, my early morning view...

Piper has been waking up early lately and although I would love a few more minutes of shut eye, I love the time I get with my precious P before the world is awake.  Just her and I  in our house of 7.  The dogs, daddy and Blake are all asleep but P and I...

We talk.  We play.  We tickle.  We snuggle.

she makes this awkward face when she see's me taking pictures and stops to say "cheese"

We have our breakfast...a lala (banana) and a big 'ol spoon of peanut butter,
Pipers favorite!

we feed our babies

give a few snuggles

and, I watch her.  I watch her quaint little mannerisms, listen to her newly learned words, her excitement for being understood.

we potty...

Sometimes, Piper wears Blake's old training underwear...she loves the cars and they look so cute on my always pink girl and those chubby little legs! 

We get dressed, we do hair, we look in the mirror and waive "hi" to the pretty girl.  Every morning, Pipers first words are "blake"? to which I say "he's nite nite" to which she says "no".  Then, we move on to "daddy"? to which I say "he's nite nite" to which she says "no".  

Every morning.

From the second I heard the doctor say "girl"...this is what I pictured, pig tails and baby dolls.

But, I could never fathom all the fun, love, and sweetness!

When daddy leaves for work, there are lots of kisses and smiles.  She sure loves her daddy and I am pretty sure he's over the world for her.

And, before makeup and hair and clothes, she gets me... uninterrupted for about an hour

It's a gift I am really enjoying!
