This is the bundle of cuteness that fell out of this week's Monday Folder
(which is quickly becoming a highlight of my week).

My how things change!  I can get Blake to do worksheets here at home...on occasion, with a bribe and as long as there is NO coloring.

This is the birthday card he made for his teacher tonight and was THRILLED to do so!  He is learning the new D'nelian handwriting style at school and making good progress with it already!  He wanted to stencil and write and color...I was smiling ear to ear.

This is the first time (other than cookies) that he has helped in the kitchen!  He is a great tomato slicer!  Who knew?

The monkey bars, the rock walls, the detailed drawings, the books he makes...these are just a few of the things we have gained over the past few months!

"I can't" is about the only thing we have given up!  And, that makes me smile!  

He is doing it!  He is doing it because he wants too!  It was in there the whole time, I knew it...but, we needed a little help getting it out.  Now, it is all coming out!  A flood gate I tell ya and this momma is here to weather the storm.



I feel so relieved at where we are and although I know we still have some hurdles (like learning to skip - see below)...we will keep workin' away and pretty soon we will conquer those and move onto the next one! 

 I guess that's what life's all about.
