An afternoon date with the camera and my two stars!

It is that time of year..tree is up, lights are on the house, advent calendars are started and snow is on the ground!  WOOHOO!  Now to create the annual Christmas Card...I love this part!  I make a handmade Christmas card every year and since I have the two most adorable kiddos on the planet, it has to have a picture of them on it!  So, I thought instead of taking them in for pictures, I would attempt a "photo shoot" at home and see what we came up with.  Sure, there was LOTS of pictures like this

But, then there are shots like these!

It was my first time really trying to use our new camera and I need MORE practice with it, but overall it was fun and I was happy with the shots I got!  Of course, look at the kiddos I get to take pictures of!  How can I go wrong?  Now...to pick just one!
