Happy Fathers Day!

Yesterday was Fathers Day and we took the chance to celebrate our daddy in a fun way....first, we left the house! ha!  We let him sleep in, came home around 11 and went to lunch downtown on 16th st.

After lunch and walking down 16th St., we were off to one of our favorite stores, REI.  It is a fun store to explore.  Lots of things to look at.  Bikes, hiking, camping, fishing, anything outdoorsy.  AND, they have a small kids play area which the kids loved!

We came home for naps and to grill dinner..it was a HOT one, but mommy was tired so instead of setting up the BIG POOL, we just filled the ol' turtle sandbox with water...

Why is it so fun to let the kids run around in their diaper/undies now and then?  

We had a great day with Brian.  He is something to celebrate and I hope he felt loved!  Now, to figure out more surprises for his bday Wednesday - sheesh...all at once!  What a pain ;)
