Why am I SO excited?!?

I literally have butterflies as I write this.  I am SO excited and SO incredibly nervous at the same time!  So, here it goes:

I am going to start a Photography biz!

ANYONE that knows me knows that I love Photography!  I love to take pictures and I am the sick obsessed soul that carries my camera everywhere, takes a bajillion (yes, its a word) pictures of a play date at the park, and my very first thought when something funny or amazing happens is, oh.em.gee, I need to take a picture!  

Photography has always been a fun/addicting hobby of mine.  I am a HUGE scrapbooker and just recently printed out 1300 pictures from January to July of last year!  Maybe starting this business will get me busy with other peoples pictures and I will have less time to capture my childs' EVERY new phase (and lord knows, B has TONS of those)

I truly feel that a picture is really worth 1,000 words and I hope that the pictures I take for my clients are THE shots they will remember sixty years down the road, or frame on the mantel to glance at everyday.

I am beyond nervous.  It is a VERY scary thing to do.  I feel like my other "business ventures" were ideas, this is my vision and photography style and I am putting it out there for the world to see and ultimately judge.  

now for the crazy town part...in typical Kendra fashion, I am doing this backwards!  After talking to hubby last night and sharing my desire and passion to do this, he jumped on board full force.  I then proceeded to name, design and plan my business.  I started a blog and did a bit of marketing and today, I booked my very first photo shoot!  

I am honored and excited to photograph a newborn baby Saturday morning at the HOSPITAL!  Mommy is being induced tomorrow!  Less than 24 hours old and I get to be the first one to help capture those precious moments!

WOW!  So, yeah, I am totally excited/scared/nervous/stunned.  I can NOT wait to share with you this journey and hopefully, it will continue to be something I am passionate about and love to do!
