Today was a special, cherished, good feeling, I am so glad we did that kinda day!
Blake had preschool this morning and after I dropped him off, I decided that P and I needed a date! So, off we went to Barnes and Noble. The girl LOVES to read and recently (since potty training like a rock star) she has a serious love for Elmo! I mean, honestly, who doesn't?
So, we headed to Barnes and Noble with a Starbucks for me and a vanilla bean scone for P and we headed to the Elmo section....
She LOVED it! Her favorite Elmo book was one with a mini-puppet Elmo inside that sang "If you're happy and you know it" to which you could make Elmo clap his hands...Whenever I would stop "clapping" she would come over and clap Elmo's hands together for me :)
She loves him and it just might be the cutest word I have heard her say!

After Barnes and Noble, we went to pick up B. Had a fun play date with a friend of ours and then my friend Andrea texted that she was going to Chick-Fil-A tonight with her boys...every kid that wore a superhero outfit got a free kids meal! I can safely say that you mention the words "superhero", "Tristan", and "play-place" and B is there! So, a few calls to rearrange the vet appointment, potty training coverage and we were off!
I must say, Chick-Fil-A can put on a show! DJ, face painting, finger and hair painting and free food....well played, Chick-Fil-A, well played! The kids ALL had a blast!
Even the cow was dressed up!
WOOOHHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Sorry, Broncos just scored! Oh, thank the LORD! ;)
Ok, sorry - back to the kids!
Anyway, my Spider Man was SO happy. It is a role he does NOT take lightly and he was excited to act it up with his best buddy T!
I am off to watch this oh, so frustrating and yet intriguing team...BUT first, I will leave you with this....
