First, Meet "Macaw".
Macaw, is a nickname Piper made for my mom...all we can figure is the "innerds" of 'Grandma Connie' make the sound Macaw...there ya have it. It stuck.
Macaw is GREAT at snuggles
She can protect you from a gorilla
She's always there to hold your hand, or listen, or laugh
Today, Macaw joined us at the Zoo. It was a GREAT day! We saw all of the animals, we ate a picnic lunch, we rode the train and carousel and we made memories.

Today was a perfect "zoo" day. Overcast, warm-but-not-hot,
busy-but-not-crowded..perfection!
Funny, the Zoo had very little to do with our perfect day.
