Optional Science Fair?! It was a no brainer. Blake is all about science and I am all about getting him interested in school. I have very fond memories of the science fair as a kid so I could hardly wait to help him learn, create, explore.
Picking a topic that was age appropriate was a bit tough. He always loves to make volcanoes so I started there and then thought we could add another level to it...we landed on color volcanoes!
His Hypothesis:
If you mix 2 colors together it will make another color.
What he learned was:
Only mixing two PRIMARY colors together make another color, if you mix other non-primary colors, you will just make a variation of one of those colors...KINDERGARTEN.MIND.BLOWN.
So, we started with a fun melted crayon color wheel...
Added lots of paint
Showed the combos we tried in a color wheel
And let sister help because she is READY for Kindergarten ;)

It turned out great. He loved it and got a ribbon which he thought was cool.
