Here's to a crazy life with two busy, active, healthy, happy kiddos!
#1 on the recent list: Stock Show Parade! We went last year for the first time and I knew I wanted to take the kids again this year.
Highlights:
- meeting Allie and her adorable girls there and spending some time with them
- watching Piper kick and get so excited about the horses
- Blake LOVED the firetrucks and tractors - DUH!
- A last minute, invite to Mcd's after the game for Blake all time favorite M&M McFlurry and some serious TUBE play with Dylan & Brad-O!
Sidenote: I absolutely LOVE the fact that right now, Blake is at the age where naps are good and he still loves them *but* when something fun is going on OR I want to do something special for my #1 little man, we can skip them, seize the day and go to bed at 7!

Next to the list, OFF TO THE RACES!
After the stock show parade and our fun ice cream venture, we came home around 3 and it was b.e.a.u.t.i.f.u.l. outside! For those two hours, I got a serious glimpse of spring fever! I forgot how enjoyable it is to let Blake play outside in the sandbox and watch his imagination run wild! This time was dinosaurs and construction trucks and somehow he made the two mesh into a three year old fantasy world of crashes and enjoyment. One minor thing I forgot was that Piper really cant just play outside...she is all over the place and if I put her out on the grass she will eat everything in site. So, I improvised and gave her a ride in her Christmas present from Santa while I picked up the poop from our three beloved poop monster K-9's...
BTW - she LOVES this car!
Anyway, giving her a ride somehow turned into this fun game!
It was very fun and went on until the sun went down and it got too cold to continue...
#3 - Can you say BRONCOS!!!!!!???
We can! We have been having some fun with these games and all of the craziness that is Tim Tebow this year!
Ready for the BIG game (and no, Blake wont wear his actual Broncos sweatshirt so we have to compromise *weekly* on this shirt) ;)
...and THIS season - everyone is watching intently.
