It was HOT today in CO! High reached 90 and after a very fun morning and MOPS, we came home to put up the wading pool piper got for her birthday. Honestly, I think Blake was WAY more excited about the pool than she was ;) I really thought it was pretty young for him but low and behold the boy loved it! I didn't hear from him for over two hours! I weeded my garden, pruned my apple tree, played with piper and all the while, blake was loving life in 2" of freezing cold water while the beating hot sun that was present earlier in the day vanished behind some clouds once the kids got up from quiet time/nap.
It was a glorious day in our backyard! Lots of laughs, imaginatory alligator chases, water exploration and we even caught a catterpillar!
Tonight, we got warmed up in sweats, had mac and cheese for dinner and went out on a soccer playing mission in the park up the street with three of my favorite peeps...
